Somalia Seaton is of Jamaican and Nigerian parentage. Born and raised in London, she graduated from East 15 Acting School in 2008.
Somalia is an incredibly striking newcomer - tall, slim and athletic. A good singing voice and excellent movement skills make her a strong all-round performer.
Somalia really comes into her own by juxtaposing her model looks with the ability to embody dark and complex characters, producing some highly emotional, sensitive and startlingly honest performances. She is not to be under-estimated!
Although she enjoys the classics, Somalia's college experience with writers such as April De Angelis and companies such as Paines Plough has reinforced her interest in performing new writing and contemporary theatre. |
