Spotlight On... Imogen Smith

Imogen is an intelligent actress who excels in classical text and verse. Her physical and devised Theatre experience includes working with Stephen Berkoff in his production of Coriolanus.

Other memorable roles include Jennet Jourdmayne in The Lady's Not For Burning co-directed by Christopher Fry. Imogen also worked on an Asian-style production of Macbeth in Singapore and a recent tour of The Mona Lisas gave her the opportunity to work with Romanian actors, her openness to new writing bringing yet more diverse and international experience to her CV.

Imogen has very striking features, her dark hair and eye-colour, language and accent skills have given her the ability to play a range of nationalities.

She is often well cast as strong, high-status women but also quirky, eccentric roles to which she brings depth and honesty, tragic or comic. We all at City Actors Management value her passion and commitment.
